Illustrator and satirical cartoonist Angela Ferrão wields humour to dissect the sociopolitical life in her home state of Goa and the world.

Angela has published a children’s book (Fuloos Plays with the Sun, 2013) and a short graphic story (‘Ladies, Please Excuse’, Drawing the Line, 2015). Her covers for Fr. Agnel’s The Call are an extension of her editorial commentary online. Her work has been featured in various newspapers, academic journals, magazines, websites (e.g. www.roycares.org), and books (e.g. Pantaleão Fernandes, Once Upon a Time in Goa, 2014; Maruti Naik, Bharat Jodo Yatra, 2023). In December 2023, she held a successful exhibition of her work, The Uninvited (curated by Dr. R. Benedito Ferrão), which was complemented by the release of a book by the same name.
